We held our Annual Meeting on Thursday 16th May 2024. Cllr Ruthie Houldsworth was re-elected as chairman for another year. Sadly, Cllr John Andrew retired from the Parish Council. John had been with the council for 7 years serving and was the Finance committee chair for many of those years. He served under 4 different chairman. He will be greatly missed by all. The council extends it's best wishes to him and Jennifer. In other news the council welcomed Mr David Pearson to the meeting. He is Deputy Lord Lieutenant for the West Yorkshire Lieutenancy - it was very interesting to hear about what that office does. More information on this will be on the draft minutes.
