The Local Audit & Accountability Act 2014 and the Accounts & Audit Regulations 2015 set out the responsibilities of all local councils in respect of their accounting and audit procedures. The accounts are inspected by an internal auditor before being presented to full council for approval. The Annual Governance and and Accountability Return (AGAR) for year ending 31st March 2026 is now available. Anyone who wishes to inspect them should contact the clerk for an appoitment. The accounts can be inspected from Wednesday 3rd June to Tuesday 14th July 2026.
